Ultra Refrigeration & Air Conditioning recommend having any heat pump deep cleaned yearly.

This service ensures you’re getting full efficiency out of your heat pump, and can extend the working life of the system. We remove mould, fungi, and dirt build-up that blocks filters, fins and blades, stopping the spread of nasties by the air you thought was clean. The unit is then disinfected and sanitised to keep bacteria and bad odour away. The procedure involves:

Cleaning and deodorising of the filters;
Pressure spray clean and sanitisation / disinfection of the indoor coil and fan blade;
Cleaning the outdoor unit condenser with special coil-cleaning products;
Electrical wiring visual and mechanical inspection;
Electrical current draw check, verifying that the correct amount of power is being used;
Refrigerant charge check;
Drain operation check and unblock as needed.

If you have multiple units, the price for each additional unit is only $90.00 + GST. These prices are based on service within 10km from our Otumoetai workshop – additional travel cost may be applicable for areas past 10km.
